The Huntington’s Disease Society of America is a national, voluntary health organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with Huntington’s Disease and their families, to promote and support research and medical efforts to eradicate Huntington’s Disease, to assist people and families affected by Huntington’s Disease to cope with the problems presented by the disease, and to educate the public and health professionals about Huntington’s Disease.

Michelle & Heather were interns from Ramapo College. They worked at the New Jersey Chapter from February-May. Michelle studied psychology and worked hands on with the planning of the State Conference. Heather also studied psychology and assisted in planning the Shoot for a Cure Hoop-a-Thon events and the Hope for Huntington's Motorcycle Run.
